The mission of GalenGold_TM is to supply high end quality gold jewelry to customers of discriminating taste. Please note that GalenGold_TM jewelry is hand finished, and crafted from 18k, 22k, or 24k gold. All jewelry arrives with an  Appraisal Certificate and a Certificate of Authenticity.  

We supply the discriminating investor with 18 karat or better gold jewelry.

Why 18k +?
The numeric equivalent of 18k is 75%. This means that the metal in the jewelry is at least 75% gold. The other metal is alloy that strengthens the jewelry. Therefore, the jewelry has intrinsic value based on the gold content alone.

Gold is viewed as a standard of exchange throughout the world. With currencies subject to devaluation, GalenGold may provide financial security and stability in an otherwise unstable world. Gold is accepted worldwide, and the traveler may have "emergency money" if a wallet is lost or stolen. A piece of jewelry you are wearing may be less likely to be lost compared to gold coins. Gold coins may also have certain political affiliations based on their country of origin.

GalenGold_TM is a wholely owned by  Newport Gems, established in 2005. A new company, with new ideas. For security purposes, all jewelry is stored offsite.
